En lang række kunstnere har indspillet Bob Dylan-numre til soundtracket til filmen I’m Not There.

Filmen, der instrueres af Todd Haynes, har været meget omdiskuteret, fordi Bob Dylan spilles af seks forskellige skuespillere, deriblandt Richard Gere og Cate Blanchett (billedet). Filmen har amerikansk premiere d. 21. november.

På mange af numrene er backingbandet the Million Dollar Bashers, et band specielt samlet til lejligheden, der blandt andet består af Lee Ranaldo og Steve Shelley fra Sonic Youth, Tom Verlaine fra Television, Wilco-guitaristen Nels Cline og Dylan-bassisten Tony Garnier.
