Her til morgen bringer diverse musikmagasiner og -blogs den kedelige nyhed, at Micheal Larsen, mere kendt som Eyedea, er død. På en facebookgruppe skriver hans mor følgende:
»It is with great pain and sadness that I tell you my son Mikey (Eyedea) has passed away.
At this time we kindly request your respect and our privacy as we process this devastating loss.

Eyedea var kendt som en særdeles talentfuld rapper, der havde vundet op til flere konkurrencer, og i sit samarbejde med dj’en Abilities udgav tre fremragende bud på alternativ hiphop, senest med sidste års punk-inspirerede By the Throat. Derfra virker følgende citat nu som en ubehagelig forudsigelse: »There’s no hell more harsh than a memory / there’s no home more hell than en empty nest / winter takes the warm away / spring takes the cold away / summer takes the rain away / and fall took away my friend« (“Hay Fever”).
